这两天，云存储服务器商们都在大战！
刚开始，金山网盘免费100GB空间，紧接着360就搞出了免费360GB。百度云网盘推出”1元=永久1TB免费空间”，360按耐不住，再发出大招应对,在已送360GB的基础上再送666GB，而且不收钱，永久免费。华为网盘却走了不一样的路线，推出惊人的“无限空间”战略！
这样的大战对于普通用户可以说是惊喜连连，免费服务还能一再升级，这些公司都傻了吗。可对于其他的云服务器运营商来说，却绝对不是好消息，个别资金不是很充裕的运营商将很多被淘汰，被迫退出云存储服务市场。
但这些大的免费容量真的是好事吗？
首先，容量增加了，但这免费的ITB容量你真的能用得完吗。目前大多数网盘用户实际能用到容量大约在5-10GB之间，只有少数人有可能会用的10GB以上。对于一个千万级用户量的系统，能用到100GB以上的只能算个别情况了。所以不管是50GB、100GB、还是1TB，对绝大多数用户来说效果都是一样的。当然你若非要把珍藏多样的视频都上传到网盘，那自当别论了。
其次，容量增加了，虽然云存储运营商不见得立马大量购置存储设备，但为保证上下载速度，数据中心的带宽需求却会大幅度增加。带宽是存储类数据中心最主要的运营成本之一，平均每1Gb带宽每年的费用在45-60万左右，一二线城市的价格不同，接入主干网和城域网的价格也不同。估计这几个大型云存储服务运营商的带宽租用不会低于100Gb，这样每年光带宽的投入就在4500-6000万左右。
第三，容量增加了，运营商的运营成本和维护成本增加了，而且是大数额、大幅度的增加，仅仅靠广告是绝对不可能收回成本和盈利的。那么为了保证业务能持续下去，能在其它方面想办法：
1、1TB 的空间几乎可以将电脑上所有的文件都备份一份在云端，而很多人也会真的这么做。如此一来，由于用户的文件都在上面，可以轻易地牢牢绑住这些用户使用自己的各种附加服务；
2、大量工作文档和私人文件存储在云端，云服务运营商就能更好地分析用户的资料和使用习惯，这些数据只要一转手就是钱。当你在淘宝上浏览过几个产品后，有时当你访问其他网站时，这个新网站向你推荐产品就与你刚刚在淘宝上浏览的是同一类产品，甚至连网站挂接的广告就是同一类产品。你认为这个网站和广告商会免费获得你的上网行为信息吗？
3、对于搜索引擎的优化也会有很大的帮助，促进和提升主要业务的发展；
4、为其它收费业务系统创造客户机会。反正你的核心数据都在这儿了，买别的服务自己也会优选它；
最后，其实我们最担心的应该是数据安全问题。对于这些专门做互联网业务的大鳄来说，从你的大量文档、图片、视频数据中获得想要的信息是件很容易的事情，而且他们的某些收费业务本身就很需要这些信息，所以……。但愿他们以后真的不会这么干。相比起来，数据放在小一点的、专业做云存储服务的运营商哪儿也许更安全一些，毕竟对它来说获得你的信息不容易，自身也不需要，转手卖给别人时的竞争力也不高。只是这些小运营商活下去的压力太大了。
赔本的买卖没有人会干，这边投入了，在那边就一定要收回来。1TB免费容量不见得就是好事，你怎么知道自己是占便宜了还是吃亏了。
